Legal Advisor Weldpath

I am an Advocate at the Gauhati High Court and other High Courts, National Green Tribunal, and District Courts. Currently a member of Bar Association of India, High Court of Meghalaya Bar Association, Shillong Bar Association, Lawyers Association Guwahati and Institute of Scholars. I completed B.A.LL.B. (Hons.) from North Eastern Hill University, Shillong thereafter pursued LL.M. with specialization in Constitutional and Administrative Law and completed the same in 2017. I am empanelled as advocate for University Grants Commission, Government of Meghalaya, and I am also serving as Legal Aid Counsel at Gauhati High Court and High Court of Meghalaya, as well as Amicus Curiae at Gauhati High Court. I have also been the Editorial Board Member of two Law Reports, viz., (i) North East Judgments – A Monthly Law Report; and (ii) Meghalaya Judgments – A Bi-Annual Law Report. I have five article publications to my credit. I was awarded as “Top Constitutional Lawyer”, “Promising Lawyer (Constitutional Matters)”, “Young Achiever Award” and “Global Women Inspiration Awards” at different awards functions and conferences. I Have bagged the ‘Spirit of Surana’ Award for All Round Excellence in one of those Moots. I Was invited as a Speaker on Basic Structure of the Constitution of India also I Was invited as Resource Person in a Workshop on “Art of Reading Judgments”.
